The 2.42-inch 128×64 White OLED Display Module is a large-format graphic OLED display designed for embedded systems, IoT devices, instrumentation, robotics, and DIY electronics projects.
Powered by the SSD1309 display controller, the module provides a resolution of 128×64 pixels, allowing you to display text, numbers, icons, menus, sensor readings, graphs, and custom graphics.
Compared with smaller 0.96-inch OLED modules, the 2.42-inch display provides a significantly larger viewing area, making information easier to read from a greater distance. Its white OLED pixels provide excellent contrast against the dark background.
The module uses an I2C/IIC communication interface, requiring only four connections: VCC, GND, SCL, and SDA. This reduces wiring complexity and saves valuable GPIO pins for other sensors and peripherals.
OLED technology does not require a traditional backlight because individual pixels produce their own light. This provides excellent contrast, wide viewing angles, and good visibility while keeping the display compact.
