The Sharp GP2Y1014AU0F Dust Smoke Particle Sensor Module is a high-precision optical dust sensor designed to detect suspended particles such as dust, smoke, pollen, and other fine airborne contaminants. It is widely used in air quality monitoring systems, air purifiers, HVAC equipment, environmental monitoring stations, and IoT projects.

Using an infrared LED and photodiode, the sensor detects particles passing through its sensing chamber and outputs an analog voltage proportional to the dust concentration. Compared to the older GP2Y1010AU0F, the GP2Y1014AU0F provides higher measurement precision while maintaining the same compact design and 5V operating voltage.

This module includes the required connection cable, 220µF capacitor, and 150Ω resistor, allowing quick integration with popular development boards such as Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, STM32, and Raspberry Pi (via an ADC).
